FAQs

Any queries? We have answers.

We have compiled the majority of our clients' frequent questions. If you can't find what you're looking for, don't hesitate to get in touch.

General

  • Do you have a physical office where I can come in?

Our team members are spread across the globe, and everyone works remotely, as most businesses do these days.

We would, however, be happy to meet with our clients via email, text message, or scheduled call.

  • Why should I choose you over the big PR and marketing firms around?

Compared to other larger agencies, smaller ones like Flair & Fame can provide more individualized attention. Our team is made up of knowledgeable individuals with extensive experience in the field.

  • Do you accept all music projects?

We make it a practice to evaluate each music project before beginning any campaign.  Knowing up front whether we are a good fit would be helpful because we don't want to waste anyone's time or money.

  • What happens after I sign up?

Following your order submission, you'll receive an email confirmation, accompanied by a questionnaire for your completion.

  • Can you tell me about the musicians you've previously worked with?

Our team has collaborated with a wide range of artists, from independent to international. Due to confidentiality, we are sadly unable to disclose names. However, we are compiling some reviews that have been submitted in the past, and as soon as they are ready, we will add them to our website.

Online Media Buzz

  • Can you tell me which online publications and blogs will feature me?

We will not be able to predict which ones will feature your project/brand. Our team typically pitches to our appropriate media contacts and works with them on your feature if they show interest. However, we can guarantee that we will be able to deliver the number of placements that we quoted before you signed up.

  • Is there a way to get published in print media instead?

Online publications are our primary focus. However, our team can also create a campaign specifically to achieve your goal of reaching the prints (traditional magazines).

  • How long will it take for media placements to start coming in?

The timeline varies because each publication/blog outlet has their own editorial calendar that they adhere to. However, smaller outlets, in our experience, publish within 1-2 weeks. Whereas major blog outlets may take 3-8 weeks.

  • Will my media placements' content be different from each other?

Yes, the editor of each publication writes their own review and feature; as a result, if you have, say, three expected placements, each of those three will feature a different piece of content. We are also unable to control what they write, but we always check every published placement for accuracy.

  • Can we include my social media accounts in the media placement?

Inclusion of social media links aids in increasing online visibility. Hence, we encourage media outlets to do so.

  • How long will my campaign last?

Because our campaign requires no subscription, the campaign is complete once all agreed-upon deliverables are received by the client.

  • Can media placements help in social media verification?

They may, but we make no guarantees because social media sites like Instagram have their own set of guidelines that they take into account. We advise aiming for as many media features as you can secure because they will aid in establishing your credibility online.

News Release Support

  • Can you tell me what a press release is?

A press release is an official statement delivered to members of the news media through a national wire service for the purpose of providing information or making an announcement directed for public release. Imagine a traditional newspaper but in an online format. Our press releases are picked up by approximately 80 news outlets or even more. We will also send you a thorough report showing newswire placement links when distribution is finished.

  • How long will it take you to draft my press release?

After receiving the completed questionnaire and all pertinent information, we can complete the first draft in 24-48 business hours.

  • Prior to distributing the press release, could you send me a draft?

Our team always provides a draft before the distribution date to allow for any necessary changes.

  • When are you going to distribute it?

We recommend that press releases for music releases be distributed on Fridays or on the release date itself. However, it is entirely up to you. Simply inform us of your preferences, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

  • Will my press release appear on Google?

Simply copy/paste the press release title to find some online news coverage. Some distribution links are usually picked up by Google search, but they may appear over time.

  • Will news outlets show the same press release content?

Because a press release is an official statement, the same information will appear in multiple news outlets. If you're looking for placements that include a variety of articles, we recommend using our Online Media Buzz service.

Music Video Boost

  • Could you explain how this video promotion work?

We use Google network, as this is the legitimate way of doing it. Our team runs targeted advertisements to drive traffic to your music video. Please keep in mind that we are not promoting the channel, but rather a specific video.

  • How many views will my music video receive?

The number of targeted views is determined based on the package you choose or the agreement we reach before you sign up. We offer a range of options, from as low as 10,000 views to over 1 million or more, tailored to your specific goals.

  • Will my music video receive more likes or comments?

This promotion's primary goal is to generate views. We are unable to control or guarantee likes, interactions, and so on because they are heavily dependent on the video. We also see varying levels of engagement depending on the project.

  • Can I promote any music video?

The Google network is extremely strict and rejects any explicit or adult content. Therefore, to increase your chances of getting approved, we recommend promoting a clean version.

  • What if the Google network rejects my video?

We will not accept explicit ones because the network is very strict. However, if the clean version is rejected for any reason, we can either try a new video to promote or switch to a different campaign type.

  • Do you provide reports after reaching my goal?

We can send general campaigns stats but detailed analytics can be found via your own YouTube dashboard.

Outdoor Billboard Ads

  • Do you have any other billboard options besides the ones in Times Square and West Hollywood?

We do, indeed. Simply tell us your preferred city, campaign budget, and dates, and our team will locate the best available spots.

  • How big are the screens?

It depends on the available spot, but these are typically the large ones you see when you walk on a pedestrian lane. Once our team is able to find the best spots available for your preferred date, we will provide the information.

  • Can I promote any material?

We only accept clean versions of a photo or snippet. Once we've finalized the spot, we'll send it to the network or billboard landlord for approval. There's no need to be concerned as long as there's no adult or disturbing content.

  • How long will it take to get the approval from billboard landlords?

This could take up to 5 business days. As a result, we recommend that you sign up ahead of time before your preferred display date(s).

  • How long will my advertisement be displayed?

Depending on the billboard, it usually lasts between 8 and 15 seconds and receives about 10 plays per hour. The number of hours or days is determined by our agreement prior to signing up.

  • I don't live in New York; how can I be certain that my advertisement was seen?

We work with a local photographer who takes photos and video clips of the billboard ad. These will then be sent to you, and you can use them as you see fit on your social media or website.

Billing and subscription

  • What are the available payment methods?

We welcome an array of bank cards, including Visa and MasterCard, for your convenience. Moreover, we're in the process of developing alternative payment options to expand your choices.

  • I don't like recurring subscription, is that possible?

All of our campaigns do not require a subscription. We understand that financial constraints are one of the reasons why many independent musicians cannot afford promotion. As a result, we implemented the non-subscription model throughout our agency to assist. However, if it is more convenient for you to have it recurring, please let us know and we will adjust your subscription accordingly.

  • If I decide not to continue for any reason, do you offer refunds?

We are unable to issue refunds because each team member works very hard, just like you do on your projects. But we always guarantee that we will be able to fulfill what has been agreed upon.
